This book had me sucked right in! I could NOT put the book down!!!!
ALL of these books end in a cliff hanger. If I had known the author was so greedy she left every single book on a cliff hanger so you’d have to buy the next one, I’d skip it. It would cost me over $85 to read all of these books... all of which, according to reviews, end on cliff hangers. No! Absolutely not. That is just a greedy ploy for the author to trick you into paying an exorbitant amount of money for mediocre books. Book 2 was completely pointless, you could probably read two chapters of it and skip the rest of the book. If she had wrapped up at the end of book 3, then I would have rated these books a solid 3. The books are interesting, the writing and dialogue is subpar, awkward, and juvenile, but overall I would have enjoyed it... if it had actually wrapped up at some point. The fact is, these books are just mediocre. Book 3 had a crap cliff hanger ending and I’m ticked I invested what time I did to read something I will never finish.
I couldn’t put this book down. The way Helen Hardt develops characters is amazing! I can’t wait to read the next one in the series.
This is the sequel to Craving and it is just as juicy as the first one. As you’ve read in the first book he is trying to find answers. Solving the mystery of his childhood attackers and getting justice for himself. He still has a long way to go in healing himself but with HER help he is healing. He is finding a way to love again and he is embracing change. This series is very powerful but also very consuming. You will believe you have the answers and then another twist is thrown your way. But it is a phenomenal read and I would definitely recommend it. Be warned though...lots of sex scenes.
I can say enough about this series.. absolutely my favorite hands down!!! Yet another must read book!!
True read wonderful story of what we can actually live thru.
I felt the story line was pretty repetitive to the first book with a lot of back and forth between the couple and similar ups and downs. Wish Talon would just break the news already so we could move on. Seemed over drawn out. Really liked the first book and this felt too much of the same. Also fairly predictable in who was involved with his childhood story. No real twists that were surprising.
